Ms. Pedelty began her executive career at only
twenty-seven years old, when she became the Head of Operations for
an $85M business unit of Arthur Andersen, a world-class professional
services firm. Since that time she has held a wide range of positions,
allowing her to bring a broad and detailed business perspective
to her clients. Her broad based business experience spans many areas
of expertise, including accounting and finance, taxation, marketing and sales initiatives,
customer and brand strategy, human resources, strategic planning,
organizational design, Lean Manufacturing, Total Quality Management,
and general management. She is also a trusted business advisor to
leaders in numerous companies, and works exclusively with executives
in top management. Lori prides herself on the ability to remain
pragmatic while still employing a tremendously creative approach
to problem solving for her clients.
Ms. Pedelty is a leading authority in the coaching of executives. One of her areas of specialization is in the coaching of Women and in the development of Female-Leadership qualities. Women need to become effective in developing their own personal leadership style that will influence and motivate others.
Among her other credentials, Lori is a member of the
Board of Advisors for the School of Accounting at her alma mater,
The University of Iowa. Her degree in accounting was augmented by
management programs through Arthur Andersen's Worldwide Center for
Professional Education, GOAL/QPC, and Joiner & Associates, and
her achievements as a business coach to Female Executives have been
featured in the national periodical "USA Today." She lectures
frequently, facilitates seminars,
and has authored numerous articles. Ms. Pedelty is the Mother of three children (Junior at Whitney Young High School and two Daughters who attend Chicago City Day School) and is also an Executive Board
Member of the Menomonee Club of Chicago.

MARK R. ORMOND
In 1995, Mark Ormond left a highly successful career
with Price Waterhouse to join Capstone Consulting as a founder and
Principal. With Price Waterhouse he had significant US and World
Firm responsibilities in Chicago, New York and London. In Chicago
he was Vice President of Human Resources for the Tax Technology
Group in their Chicago office, where he gained extensive IT industry
recruiting experience. He was promoted to the Vice President level
from his role as Director of Recruitment for Price Waterhouse's
Midwest Region. In that role Mark conducted searches for the Audit,
Tax, and Consulting Services departments for Price Waterhouse offices
throughout the United States. Mark began his recruiting career
in 1982 and during his tenure at Price Waterhouse, he personally
managed thousands of searches, both domestic and international,
and conducted on-site placement in the Chicago, New York, and London
offices.
In addition to his achievements as a search consultant,
Mark recently served as a keynote speaker on the topic of search
strategy, and the utilization of research and cutting-edge technology
in executive recruitment, addressing audiences in Chicago, San Francisco,
and Toronto as part of the IQPC's seminar series. Since joining
Capstone Consulting, Mark has successfully placed executives across
a wide range of industries in various functional areas, and prides
himself on establishing ongoing relationships with highly satisfied
clients.
Mark is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin,
and has gained extensive human resources training through Price
Waterhouse's professional development programs, as well as through
various seminars and workshops. Mr. Ormond is also the past President
of the Printers Row Chamber of Commerce and a Board Member and past
President of the Prairie Single Family Homes of Dearborn Park and the founder of the Clubber's Elite Baseball, an urban Chicago baseball academy and program which provides instruction to urban children interested in playing baseball at an advanced level. Training facilities and games are played at Les Miller Field, on the campus of the University of Illinois, Chicago.
