Tournament Format
With the odd number of teams in the 14-U Summer In The City Tournament there will be no Divisions and we will use the USSSA/CABA State tournament format. Each team will play a minimum of three games in pool play. The top 6 teams will make the playoffs, being seeded according to their Win/Loss record and then Runs Allowed.
Using this format one team is required to play four games. The Clubbers, as the host team will take on this challenge.
Under this format over 50% of the teams will make the playoff round which will start on Sunday afternoon at 1:00 pm. We look forward to another great weekend at the University of Illinois baseball complex.
