Attention ~ Clubber Players and Families

The Clubbers now have secured our berth to participate in the CABA 15-U World Series. This is a major event and will require that everyone pay their player fees. Please discuss with Team Manager before July 15 your player fee situation. Players who have not made arrangements to cover their fee may be subject to being cut from the World Series roster. Time is running out...........you are encouraged to discuss your situation with Mark Ormond before July 15.

Please use the attached fundraising letter to help you raise your player fees. The letter is a downloadable .pdf form that you should sign and distribute to all potential sponsors. Consider family, friends, neighbors and local businesses. No amount is too large or too small.

All sponsors will be listed on the Clubber website and for business donors we will use their logos with a hyperlink to their web site.

College Scholarship Opportunity

If you are a player interested in participating in the 2006 CABA 15-U World Series to be played in Crystal Lake, IL July 28 through August 5, 2006 the Chicago Clubbers may have a roster spot opening for you!

This is an elite experience that will appeal to top players. The Clubbers are interested in adding a starting Catcher and several quality pitchers (starting and relief) to our roster for this premiere tournament event. Our starting catcher has decided to participate in an out of town CPS All Star team tournament event so we are now looking for another starting catcher.

We also have room for outfielders. If you are interested in participating in the 2006 CABA 15-U World Series as a member of the Clubbers, contact Mark Ormond at 312-480-9955. College Scholarship dollars will be paid to qualified players.

One of the great experiences of participating in a major athletic event is the exchange of pins with the other athletes on competing teams. There will be teams from Japan, Puerto Rico, Mexico and Canada as well as players from throughout the United States. A total of 44 teams will be participating in this event. You will have the opportunity to developing new friends and have memories of participating in this major event through the exchange of pins.

The Clubbers are developing our own 15-U World Series pin which you will be able to order for exchange. Our pin will feature our own distinctive Clubber logo and will be a very popular exchange item as the Clubbers will be one of the very few truly Chicago teams to be participating in the CABA 15-U World Series event.

Clubbers Pin Design

The Clubbers trading pin was specifically designed for participation in the 15-U CABA World Series Event. Every player who wants to make a pin order must provide $100 by Friday, June 30 of this week. Our order must be placed by July 5 for timely delivery of the pins before the tournament begins.

Each player ordering pins will receive 75 Pins which works out to a cost of $1.33 per pin. A half order of pins will provide each player with 37 pins.

There are 44 participating teams in the CABA 15-U World Series event.
