The
Clubbers Baseball Team is running the SPBL Fall 14U Baseball
League in conjunction with the Schaumburg Seminoles and
Russ Gangler. This league provides an excellent opportunity
to prepare for 2005 and get some games in at the full
field 60/90 dimensions. Games will be nine innings and
played on Friday night, Saturday mornings/afternoons and
on Saturday night. We will be accomodating on scheduling
to work around conflicts as best as we can. Sundays will
be reserved for rain outs and make up games. The first
games will be played the weekend of September 10 and the
league schedule will run through October 24. All participating
teams will be guaranteed 10 games and league play will
conclude with a single elimination tournament with trophies
for the top four finishing teams.
All of the fall games will be played at the University
of Illinois-North Field or at the Ed Glancy Field, located
at the Illinois Institute of Technology. Additionally,
every team will play at least one game on the University
of Illinois, Les Miller field. This field is one of the
premier college fields in the nation. The cost for a team
to be a participant in the SPBL Fall 2004 League is $900.
This is an outstanding value to play on some of the premier fields
in the area and against many of the top teams in Northern Illinois.
The SPBL 14 year old baseball league is a premiere
travel team experience and has been recognized as the
top travel baseball league in Illinois and having many
of the premier teams in the state. Playing nine inning
games and top competition is the best approach to developing
baseball skills for High School play and beyond. The
SPBL is for players who desire an elite playing experience.
